What Febuxostat is used for:
Febuxostat is used to treat high levels of uric acid in the blood (hyperuricemia) in patients with gout.
It is used for the chronic management of gout.
It is also used to treat and prevent high levels of uric acid in the blood in adults with blood cancers who are on chemotherapy.
Do not take Febuxostat:
If you’re allergic to the active substances or any other component of this medicine.
If you are currently being treated with Azathioprine or Mercaptopurine.
Warnings and precautions:
Talk to your doctor about all your medical conditions before taking this medicine including:
If you have liver or kidney problems.
If you have heart problems, a history of heart disease or stroke.
If you are being treated for cancer or if you have a health problem called Lesch-Nyhan syndrome.
An increase in gout flares may occur at the beginning of therapy. Do not stop taking this medicine.
People with heart disease taking this medicine might have a higher rate of heart-related deaths.
Liver problems have been reported with the use of this medicine. 
Possible side effects:
Stop using this product and seek immediate medical help if you develop rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Serious side effects:
Liver failure
Life threatening skin rash called Stevens-Johnson Syndrome
Very Common side effects: 
Elevated liver enzymes
Nausea
Rash
Joint pain
Other medications and Febuxostat:
Tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking. 
Do not take this medicine with Azathioprine or Mercaptopurine at the same time. 
How to take Febuxostat:  
This medicine is intended for adults above 18 years of age only.
Take as indicated by your doctor.
The usual recommended dose is 40 mg once daily.
Your doctor may increase it to 80 mg once daily if you do not achieve target.
The dose may be increased further to 120 mg once daily if your doctor sees fit. 
How to store Febuxostat: 
Protect from light.
Keep this medicine out of reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.

فيبوكسوستات 80 ملغ أقراص
لماذا يستخدم فيبوكسوستات : 
يُستخدم فيبوكسوستات لخفض مستوى حمض البوليك في الدم لدى المرضى المصابين بالنقرس.
يتم استخدامه كعلاج مزمن للنقرس.
يُستخدم فيبوكسوستات أيضًا لعلاج ومنع المستويات المرتفعة من حمض البوليك في الدم لدى المرضى المصابين بسرطان الدم الذين يخضعون للعلاج الكيميائي. 
لا تأخذ فيبوكسوستات  : 
• إذا كان لديك حساسية من المواد الفعالة أو أي من المكونات الأخرى لهذا الدواء.
• إذا كنت تتناول أياً من العقاقير التالية: الأزاثيوبرين أو المركابتوبورين.
المحاذير والإحتياطات : 
أخبر طبيبك عن جميع حالاتك الصحية ، بما في ذلك ، إذا كان لديك:
• إذا كنت تعاني من مشاكل في الكبد أو الكلى.
• إذا كنت تعاني من مشاكل في القلب أو تاريخ من أمراض القلب أو السكتة الدماغية.
• إذا كنت تخضع للعلاج من السرطان أو كنت تعاني من مشكلة صحية تُعرف باسم متلازمة ليش-نيهان.
• قد تتعرض لمزيد من نوبات النقرس بعد بدء تناول هذا العقار. لا تتوقف عن تناوله.
• المصابين بأمراض قلبية الذين يتلقوا هذا العقار، معرضون لخطر أعلى من الوفيات الناجمة عن مشاكل القلب مقارنة بالمرضى الذين يتناولون عقار آلُّوبُورينُول.
• قد تتعرض لمشاكل في الكبد بعد استخدام هذا العقار.
الآثار الجانبية المحتملة : 
توقف عن استخدام هذا المنتج واطلب العناية الطبية الفورية إذا أصبت بطفح جلدي ؛ حكة؛ جلد أحمر أو متقرح أو مقشر؛ ضيق في الصدر أو الحلق؛ صعوبة في التنفس أو البلع أو التحدث ؛ بحة غير عادية أو انتفاخ الفم أو الوجه أو الشفتين أو اللسان أو الحلق. التردد الذي تحدث به هذه الآثار الجانبية غير معروف.
أعراض جانبية خطيرة:
• تليف في الكبد
• ردود فعل جلدية خطيرة جدًا وأحيانًا مميتة: متلازمة ستيفنز- جونسون
أعراض جانبية شائعة جداً :
• ارتفاع إنزيمات الكبد
• غثيان
• طفح جلدي
• ألم في المفاصل
كيف تأخذ فيبوكسوستات :
• هذا الدواء مخصص للبالغين ما فوق 18 عامًا.
• تناول هذا العقار حسبما أمر طبيبك.
• الجرعة المعتادة الموصى بها هي 40 ملغ مرة واحدة يومياً. قد يقوم طبيبك بزيادة الجرعة إلى 80 ملغ مرة واحدة يوميًا إذا لزم.
• يمكن زيادة الجرعة إلى 120 ملغ مرة واحدة يوميًا إذا رأى طبيبك ذلك مناسبًا.
