Elevit Pronatal is a multivitamin, minerals and trace elements preparation.
Elevit Pronatal is indicated in the prevention or correction of disorders due to a vitamin or mineral imbalance or deficient diet during pregnancy and lactation.
Vitamins, minerals and trace elements are essential nutrients. They cannot be produced by the body and therefore must be derived from diet.
These substances are vital for daily living (e.g. breathing, digestion, generation of energy, function of brain and nervous system, reproduction, growth), while at the same time forming part of numerous tissues and organs.
Pregnant and breast-feeding women need significantly more vitamins, minerals and trace elements than non-pregnant women.
Particularly, a pregnant woman must provide nourishment not only for her own body but also for that of her child.
With a balanced diet and without the consumption of nicotine and alcohol, pregnant and breastfeeding women normally have enough vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
Nevertheless, deficiencies may occur during pregnancy and lactation.
Throwing up frequently during the early stage of pregnancy may be a reason for a deficiency of essential nutrients.

vitamin C 100.0 mg
vitamin D3 500 IU
vitamin E 15 IU
calcium panthotenate 10.0 mg
biotin 0.2 mg
folic acid 0.8 mg
nicotinamide 19.0 mg
7 minerals and trace elements:
iron 60.0 mg
calcium 125.0 mg
copper 1.0 mg
magnesium 100.0 mg
manganese 1.0 mg
phosphorus 125.0 mg
zinc 7.5 mg
The other ingredients are:
lactose, mannitol, macrogol 400, glycerol distearate, gelatin, microcrystalline cellulose, ethylcellulose,
sodium starch glycollate, magnesium stearate, povidone K90, povidone K30, hypromellose,
ethylcellulose aqueous dispersion (ethylcellulose, sodium lauril sulphate, cetylic alcohol), macrogol
6000, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide yellow (E172).
Dosage:
Take one tablet daily, or as directed by your health care professional.
Take Elevit if possible for at least 3 months before pregnancy, and throughout pregnancy and the breast feeding period.
Store under 25°C and protect from moisture.
