Ketoconazole 2% cream
 
What Ketoconazole is used for:
It is an azole antifungal and is used to treat endogenous Cushing’s syndrome (when the body produces an excess of cortisol) in adults and adolescents above the age of 12 years.
Do not take Ketoconazole if:
If you are allergic to ketoconazole and/or to any imidazole antifungal medicine- 
If you have liver problems
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
if you have a history of an irregular heart beat
Do not take Ketoconazole HRA if any of the above applies to you.
Warnings & Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist 
If you have history of liver disease 
If you are taking glucocorticoid
If you have irregular heart beat 
If co-existing autoimmune disease
Possible Side Effects:
Nausea 
Vomiting 
Skin reactions (rash, pruritis)
Other medicines and Ketoconazole:
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins and herbal supplements.
Tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines:
Certain medicines for lowering blood cholesterol: simvastatin, atorvastatin, lovastatin
Certain heart medicines: epleronone, dronedarone, disopyramide, felodipine, nisoldipine, ranolazine
Certain medicines used for severe mental health disorders and severe depression: pimozide, sertindole, lurasidone, quetiapine
Certain medicines used for the allergies: mizolastine
Dabigatran – medicine used to prevent the formation of blood clots
Certain medicines to help to sleep and for anxiety: triazolam, alprazolam, midazolam (taken by mouth)
Certain medicines used for migraine attacks: dihydroergotamine, ergometrine (ergonovine) ergotamine and methylergometrine (methylergonovine)
Certain medicines used in cancers: irinotecan, everolimus, sirolimus: used to prevent your Body from rejecting a kidney transplant
Vardenafil in men older than 75 years – medicine to treat erectile dysfunction in adults men
Certain medicines for HIV: saquinavir/ritonavir, saquinavir
Colchicine: medicine to treat gout
How to take Ketoconazole:
Adults and children above 12 years of age:
The recommended initial dose is usually 600 mg per day taken orally (3 tablets per day in 3 divided times).
Ketoconazole should be taken after a full meal 
Separate from taking it with antacids or gastric secretion suppressors. 
It can be taken any time of the day 
Do not break the tablet in half 
How to store Ketoconazole:
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. 
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and on the blister after EXP.
The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. 
This medicine does not require any special storage conditions  
Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines you no longer use. 
* Dosage form and route of administration Ketoconazole 2% cream and Ketoconazole 2% shampoo should be prescribed according to therapeutic indication and disease severity of each individual patient.

ما هو كيتوكونازول وما هو استخدامه:
وهو مضاد للفطريات من الآزول ويستخدم لعلاج متلازمة كوشينغ الذاتية (عندما ينتج الجسم فائضًا من الكورتيزول) لدى البالغين والمراهقين الذين تزيد أعمارهم عن 12 عامًا.
لا تتناول كيتوكونازول:
إذا كنت تعاني من حساسية تجاه الكيتوكونازول و / أو أي دواء مضاد للفطريات إيميدازول-
إذا كان لديك مشاكل في الكبد
إذا كنت حاملا أو مرضعة
إذا كان لديك تاريخ من عدم انتظام ضربات القلب
التحذيرات والإحتياطات:
تحدث إلى طبيبك أو الصيدلي
إذا كان لديك تاريخ من أمراض الكبد
إذا كنت تتناول الجلوكوكورتيكويد
إذا كنت تعاني من عدم انتظام ضربات القلب
إذا كان لديك مرض آخر من أمراض المناعة الذاتية
الآثار الجانبية المحتملة:
ردود فعل جلدية (طفح جلدي ، حكة) 
إعياء
الغثيان
الأدوية الأخرى و كيتوكونازول:
أخبر طبيبك أو الصيدلي عن جميع الأدوية التي تتناولها ، بما في ذلك الأدوية التي تصرف دون وصفة طبية والفيتامينات والمكملات العشبية.
أخبر طبيبك إذا كنت تتناول أي من الأدوية التالية:
أدوية معينة لخفض نسبة الكوليسترول في الدم: سيمفاستاتين ، أتورفاستاتين ، لوفاستاتين
بعض أدوية القلب: إبليرونون ، درونيدارون ، ديسوبيراميد ، فيلوديبين ، نيسولديبين ، رانولازين
بعض الأدوية المستخدمة لاضطرابات الصحة العقلية الشديدة والاكتئاب الشديد: بيموزيد ، وسرتيندول ، ولوراسيدون ، وكويتيابين
بعض الأدوية المستخدمة للحساسية: ميزولاستين
دابيجاتران - دواء يستخدم لمنع تكون جلطات الدم
بعض الأدوية التي تساعد على النوم والقلق: تريازولام ، ألبرازولام ، ميدازولام (تؤخذ عن طريق الفم)
بعض الأدوية المستخدمة في نوبات الصداع النصفي: ديهيدروإرغوتامين ، إرغومترين (إرغونوفين) إرغوتامين وميثيل إرجومترين (ميثيلرجونوفين)
بعض الأدوية المستخدمة في أمراض السرطان: إرينوتيكان ، إيفيروليموس ، سيروليموس: تستخدم لمنع جسمك من رفض زراعة الكلى
فاردينافيل عند الرجال الأكبر من 75 عامًا - دواء لعلاج ضعف الانتصاب لدى الرجال البالغين
أدوية معينة لفيروس نقص المناعة البشرية: ساكوينافير / ريتونافير ، ساكوينافير
الكولشيسين: دواء لعلاج النقرس
كيف تأخذ كيتوكونازول:
البالغين والأطفال فوق سن 12 سنة:
الجرعة الأولية الموصى بها هي 600 ملغ في اليوم تؤخذ عن طريق الفم (3 أقراص في اليوم على 3 مرات مقسمة).
يجب تناول قرص دواء كيتوكونازول بعد وجبة كاملة
فصله عن تناوله مع مضادات الحموضة أو مثبطات إفراز المعدة.
يمكن تناوله في أي وقت من اليوم
لا تكسر قرص دواء إلى نصفين
كيفية  تخزين كيتوكونازول:
احفظ هذا الدواء بعيدًا عن أنظار ومتناول أيدي الأطفال.
لا تستخدم هذا الدواء بعد تاريخ انتهاء الصلاحية المدون على الكرتون وعلى اللويحة بعد EXP.
يشير تاريخ انتهاء الصلاحية إلى اليوم الأخير من نفس الشهر.
لا يتطلب هذا الدواء أي شروط تخزين خاصة
لا تتخلص من الأدوية في مياه الصرف الصحي أو النفايات المنزلية.
اسأل الصيدلي عن كيفية التخلص من الأدوية التي لم تعد تستخدمها.
