Coveram 10mg/5mg is a combination of perindopril and amlodipine, and is used to treat hypertension and/or stable coronary heart disease in patients. Perindopril is an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor, and amlodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. When used together, these two active ingredients dilate blood vessels to allow blood to flow more easily and help the heart maintain normal blood flow.
