HIDRASEC INFANTD 10MG SACHETS 16'S
 
Hidrasec contains an active substance called racecadotril. It acts on the intestinal wall and inhibits the increased separation of fluid and salts caused by inflammation. Racecadotril exercise fast antidiarrheal effect without changing the length of the passage through the digestive tract.
Applied as an additional symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea in infants (over three months) and children when rehydration orally and the usual accompanying measures are insufficient to control the clinical condition.
2. BEFORE YOU TAKE HIDRASEC
You do not have to use this medicine if your child:
it has a known hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients;
if you are suffering from fructose intolerance, glucose malabsorption syndrome and failure zaharoza-isomaltese as granules contain sugar.
If you are not sure whether the above things apply to you, ask your doctor!

Take special care with HIDRASEC
The implementation of the drug does not alter normal mode of recovery of liquids. For children it is important to drink plenty of fluids. 
Pregnancy and lactation
Please tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding or plan to become pregnant!
The drug is intended for infants and children up to 3 years of age.
3. HOW TO USE HIDRASEC
Always Hidrasek just as you have been told by your doctor. If you are not sure ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Hidrasek administered orally with concomitant administration of fluids.
The recommended daily dose is determined by weight, based on 1.5 mg / kg per dose given at baseline and followed by three, equally distributed over the day.
The duration of treatment should not be more than seven days.
The granules can be added to food or dissolved in a glass of water or in a baby bottle until the contents dissolve well, to follow immediately swallowed.
4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

What Hidrasec
Each sachet contains the active substance 10 mg of racecadotril.
The other ingredients are: sucrose, silica colloidal polyacrylate dispersion 30 percent aroma of apricot.
