PENTASA® suppositories are an intestinal therapeutic agent.
PENTASA® suppositories are used in: treatment of ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the large intestine with ulceration) limited to the rectum.
Always take PENTASA® suppositories exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is:
Adults: insert one suppository per day into the rectum.
Children: there are only few data and experience available on the use in children.
Method of administration: Rectal use.
Duration of administration:
Generally, the treatment of the acute attack lasts for a period of two to four weeks

  تحاميل بنتاسا هي عامل علاجي معوي. 
تستخدم تحاميل بنتاسا في:
علاج التهاب القولون التقرحّي )التهاب الأمعاء الغليظة مع تقرحات( الذي يقتصر على المستقيم.
البالغين: إدخال تحميلة واحدة يومياً في الشرج.
الأطفال: هناك عدد قليل فقط من البيانات والخبرات المتوفرة بشأن استخدامها لدى الأطفال.
طريقة التناول: استخدام شرجي.
مدة التناول: عموماً، يستمر علاج النوبات الحادة لمدة أسبوعين إلى أربعة أسابيع.
تترك إمكانية تمديد أخذ العلاج لتقدير الطبيب المعالج
